Morne started his career in the rubber industry. He was a lubricator and worked his way up to become a qualified electrician with distinction and then moved up the ranks to become the youngest maintenance manager for the largest rubber company in South Africa. He was taken over to Rema Tip Top to become their Engineering manager. Morne joined National Rubber Matmin, part of the Metso Group, and was appointed as the Maintenance Manager. Morne started with his studying in various subjects to gain knowledge of different fields. He then joined the crane industry and work as a technician at first and again worked his way up to become an LMI, after a few months he became Service Manager, then Senior manager and after proofing himself again, Director.

It was up till recently when he decided to start his own Crane Venture and with the knowledge gained over the years and all the relevant training and skills, he has become well known in the crane industry for his performance, skill and quality of workmanship.
